Digital House is the design-and-build service of Acilox LLP ("we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), we are the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us, your name, email address, phone number, company name and the message or project brief you send through our contact form or by email.
- Booking details, when you book an intro call, the time you choose and any answers you provide to scheduling questions.
- Project information, content, files, logins and brand materials you share so we can build your website, app or software.
- Technical data, we use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics that record aggregated page views and referrers only. We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote and timeline.
- To deliver the services you engage us for, and to communicate during the project.
- To send service-related messages (e.g. invoices, project updates and launch information).
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We collect and use personal information only where it is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. Where your data is processed
Your personal data is processed in India and Australia. Where data is transferred outside Australia (for example to our team or service providers in India), we put appropriate safeguards in place so it stays protected to a standard consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period. Client and project data is kept for the life of the engagement and afterwards only as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you can:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct personal information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete
- ask not to be identified (anonymity) where it is lawful and practicable
- ask how your information is handled and request that we stop using it for marketing
- make a privacy complaint to us and, if unresolved, to the OAIC

8. How we protect your data
We use reputable providers, access controls and encryption in transit to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard the information you share with us.
9. Questions & complaints
If you have a question or concern, please contact us first at business@acilox.com, we want to put things right. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) (www.oaic.gov.au).
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
