This is the division-specific privacy notice for Acilox Reads. It supplements the master privacy policy.

What Reads processes

Reads publishes essays, research, and editorial content. Processing that is specific or most relevant to Reads includes:

Newsletter subscription

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and subscription status. Delivery may be handled by Buttondown or comparable mailing infrastructure. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email.

Comments

Currently we do not host comments on Reads articles. If we introduce comments in the future, we will update this notice and the master privacy policy.

RSS

Our RSS feed distributes article metadata and links. Subscribing via RSS does not require an account and does not inherently transmit PII to us beyond standard server logs.

Analytics

We use Plausible for privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics on reads pages. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Guest contributions

If you contribute content as a guest author, we process your name, bio, headshot if provided, and contact details needed to coordinate publication and payment where applicable.

EU/UK — right to be forgotten (newsletter)

If you are in the EU or UK and have subscribed to the newsletter, you may request erasure of your subscription record. Unsubscribe links provide one-click removal from future mailings; for complete deletion of historical records, email privacy@acilox.com.
