Copyright & Takedown.

Acilox LLP (“Acilox,” “we,” “our”) respects intellectual property rights. This policy describes how to notify us of alleged copyright infringement on services we operate. The process is modeled on the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and is available to rights holders globally, subject to applicable law.

What we need in a notice

Your notice should include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (URLs, account names, timestamps);
  3. Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email);
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the rights holder;
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information in the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner;
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Designated agent

Send notices to our designated copyright agent. We may acknowledge receipt and request clarification if information is incomplete.

  • Name: Designated Copyright Agent, Acilox LLP
  • Email: legal@acilox.com (preferred)
  • Postal address: Acilox LLP — Designated Copyright Agent, c/o Registered Office, India. The complete street address held on file with the Indian Ministry of Corporate Affairs is provided on written request via legal@acilox.com. For services hosted in the United States that rely on 17 U.S.C. § 512 safe harbor, the agent will be additionally registered with the U.S. Copyright Office; the registration page becomes the authoritative contact for such notices upon issuance.

Counter-notice

If we remove or disable material based on a notice, we may notify the affected user. That user may submit a counter-notice containing: identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief that removal was a mistake or misidentification, consent to jurisdiction where required, and contact details. We may restore material after a waiting period unless the rights holder initiates legal action where permitted.

Repeat infringers

We may terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, considering the nature of the claims and applicable law.

Misrepresentations

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may expose you to liability under applicable law.
