Digital House is the design-and-build service of Acilox LLP ("we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of applicable US state privacy law, we are the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us, your name, email address, phone number, company name and the message or project brief you send through our contact form or by email.
- Booking details, when you book an intro call, the time you choose and any answers you provide to scheduling questions.
- Project information, content, files, logins and brand materials you share so we can build your website, app or software.
- Technical data, we use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics that record aggregated page views and referrers only. We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote and timeline.
- To deliver the services you engage us for, and to communicate during the project.
- To send service-related messages (e.g. invoices, project updates and launch information).
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We collect and use personal information only for the business purposes described above. We do not sell your personal information, and where US state privacy laws apply (such as the CCPA/CPRA) we honor your rights over that information.
5. Where your data is processed
Your personal data is processed in the United States and India. Where data is transferred outside United States (for example to our team or service providers in India), we put appropriate safeguards in place so it stays protected to a standard consistent with applicable US state privacy law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period. Client and project data is kept for the life of the engagement and afterwards only as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under applicable US state privacy law you can:
- request to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it
- request a copy of the personal information you provided to us
- request that we correct inaccurate personal information
- request that we delete personal information we hold about you
- opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell your data)
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

8. How we protect your data
We use reputable providers, access controls and encryption in transit to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard the information you share with us.
9. Questions & complaints
If you have a question or concern, please contact us first at business@acilox.com, we want to put things right. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the relevant state Attorney General (for California, the California Privacy Protection Agency) (cppa.ca.gov).
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
