Acilox Arcade title: pass the phone, race the timer, beat the buzzer. Taboo Party is a fast, friendly, ad-light take on the word-guessing classic — built for four to twenty players in any room.
Taboo Party is developed and published by the Acilox Arcade team as a flagship phone-first party experience.
How it works
- Two teams. The handset becomes buzzer, scoreboard, and word generator.
- Get your team to say the target word without using any of the five forbidden clues.
- Best-of-five rounds. Competitive volume is a feature.
Why the Arcade team built it
We wanted a party game that did not depend on printed cards, a physical buzzer, or remembering to pack a box. The devices people already carry can shuffle ten thousand-plus words and keep score fairly — so we shipped that experience with Acilox polish: readable type, predictable ads, and modes that work offline where possible.
